The crates and cases were loaded into the trucks and busses, ready to set off on the American leg of the Mythology Tour.

  • Boston, MA - 15th May 2014
  • Philadelphia, PA - 19th May 2014
  • Wantaugh, NY - 23rd May 2014
  • Chicago, IL - 27th May 2014
  • Concord, CA - 31 May 2014
  • Los Angeles, CA - 4th June 2014
  • This third leg was full of genuine open emotion, and as always no matter how vast the arena the shows were intimate and personal. Often the warmth and appreciation of the crowd brought the stage close to tears, it was overwhelming and healing.

The CBS interview with Anthony Mason included Stephen speaking about his Dad and the emotion of these shows. Stephen performed as part of The Roots when Barry performed Jive Talking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. [please click the image to go to the hosts web sites for video footage].

A few tweaks were made to the set list, Barry added a Bruce Springsteen cover "I'm On Fire", and also "Spirits Having Flown". Stephen added vocals to "Grease", as well as "I've Gotta Get A Message To You" and his solo "On Time", his vocal stylings greeted with much applause and gusto from the crowd.

Denise Wiggins and her husband remarked after the Philadelphia show that ::

My husband and I were blessed to be seated in the first row directly in front of Stephen Gibb at the Philadelphia concert. Stephen was the Master of his Guitar and played with amazing heart and soul. Clearly talented and certainly a huge contributor to the evening, he never missed a beat and he thoroughly enjoyed his role.

In addition, his vocals were amazing as he contributed on several songs as well as went solo with Maurice's song...On Time. Stephen perused the audience often and it was an extra bonus each time he beamed his shining smile! Never once did Stephen upstage his legendary father. He respectfully complemented the entire show. There is so much more to come for Stephen in the future and it will be a pleasure to know we will be seeing him for many years to come. The band played together for 2 hours and 40 minutes - an amazing sight for our eyes and a memorable sound to our ears to last a lifetime.

Elyse Kopel posted on our FaceBook Group :: The concert exceeded my wildest expectations. As someone who hates the rain, I completely forgot how awful the weather was at Jones Beach the moment Barry and company took the stage. I was brought back to the 70s but in a gentler, more thoughtful way. Stephen's voice amazed me, a stark contrast to any Bee Gees music yet fit in perfectly. Sadly didn't get to experience Samantha but the experience of the father and son bond was unforgettable. I will remember this concert forever and so hope that Barry realizes his fans still adore him and will want more for as long as he can give. Here's a photo of Stephen, not perfect but he seems deep in thought.

Miriiam DiNunzio of the Chicago Sun times added as a high light to the show "Gibb's oldest son, Stephen, joining his famous dad on guitar, and delivering his own, fully rockin' version of "On Time"".

Lynette Yorks who attended the sound check and show at Concord CA said ::

The Barry Gibb Mythology Tour concert was truly awesome. The amazing footage they played of Barry, Robin, Maurice, and Andy along with pictures of the family was a treasure. Each song Barry dedicated to each brother was perfection. I will never forget this show because it touched my heart in such a very special way. Barry has inspired me because he is able to continue his life as a celebration even through great loss. What inspiration he is to all!

I also loved hearing Stephen take the lead on I've Gotta Get a Message to You. It's truly amazing how Stephen's gorgeous soulful husky voice compliments Barry's magnificent voice.

Barry and Stephen were both so generous with their time to the fans; both caring, friendly and patient. Stephen took the time to come out and greet the fans after the show which was an extraordinary treat! I will always cherish this day May 31, 2014. Thank you to the whole Mythology band and team. You put on a really GREAT show!!!

And finally, a few words from Stephen

Last nights show at the Hollywood Bowl will be a night I cherish for the rest of my life. Along with all of the shows we've done so far. Thank you to all the friends/fans that show up to share the experience with my family, the whole band, our incredible crew & I . We love and appreciate every minute.

We wait to hear where the Mythology Tours rolls into next .....
