Hard Rockers, Saigon Kick was formed in Miami, Florida during 1988 by lead vocalist Matt Kramer and guitarist Jason Beiler, gaining a strong following on the local club scene and generating enough buzz to be signed to Third Stone records in 1990 and release their first self-titled album in 1991.
Their second album The Lizard reached 80 on the US with sales in excess of 500,000 copies. The single "Love Is On The Way" peaking at #12 on Billboards Hot 100.
Creative and stylistic differences, and involvement with other music projects saw many changes to the line-up for the next couple of decades. News released via their official Facebook page stated that Saigon Kick would be reforming with the majority of its original members to play a selection of gigs and possibly release some new material.
